About Neuro-Sys
Neuro-sys was founded in 2013 in order to meet the demand for contract research services in the area of CNS (Central Nervous System) and PNS (Peripheral Nervous System). We owe our reputation to our team of experts, including best-in-class neuropharmacologists, physicians, and neurologists, with more than 20 years of experience in pharmaceutical and biotech companies.
We’re able to provide leading advanced mode of action models by continually investing in in-house research to develop our own understanding of the pathological pathways - which our partners trust.
We invest in the latest equipment which we adapt for our own automated platforms. This enables us to provide the most advanced and robust services for our clients, increased frequency and results that can be replicated reliably.

Advanced in vitro platforms
Our laboratory comprises an automated robotic platform (Beckman Coulter) linked to an automated fluorescence microscope (Molecular Devices). The platform guarantees accuracy, high frequency, and robust results that can be replicated reliably.
Biomolecular analysis
In order to dissect the mode of action of pharmacological compounds at gene and protein levels, we combine automated protein analysis (WES, Protein Simple) and quantitative PCR (Biorad).
Brand new in vivo platforms
Our latest investment in our new in vivo facility advances your drug development programmes by providing animal models for testing your candidate molecule and behavioural tests using digital tracking systems.
Behavioural analysis
We use video tracking and automatic analysis using Ethovision software and Noldus technology in order to study cognitive function. This system is coupled with gold standard protocols for the evaluation of long-term memory (Morris water maze and novel object recognition test) and short-term memory
(Y-maze).
Histological analyses
Our histological platform is equipped with a robotised Zeiss LSM 900 confocal microscope for automatic acquisition of high-quality images. Immunofluorescence signal and high content image analysis is generated automatically using MetaXPress software (molecular devices).
Analytical platform
Our platform profiles the characteristics of biological matrices and quantifies the active compounds:
-
Small molecules
-
Peptides
